Event - River Clean-up (Fall) 2012

Hi Sandy Chapter Members,

It is time for our fall river clean up. It is scheduled for Saturday - September 22, 2012 from 9:00 AM to Noon or sooner depending on the amount of trash we pick up.

Volunteers will meet in the Glenn Otto parking lot at 9 AM. We will clean up Glenn Otto, Lewis, Clark & Dabney Parks as well as along the banks of the Sandy River and the river road between the parks.

The Chapter will provide SOLV plastic bags, gloves and pick up tools, but feel free to bringyour own pick up tool if you have one.

I will have a sign up sheet at the regular meeting on September 5th or you can call or e-mail me and I will add your name and number to the list.

There will also be a no host breakfast at longtime newsletter sponsor Dee’s in Gresham starting at 7AM and meet at 9AM at Glenn Otto at 9AM.

Your participation is an easy way to help the Sandy River and benefit our Chapter in the continued use of the meeting hall at Glenn Otto.
