News - Lifetime Member Norm Loyd Has Passed Away
We are sad to report the Sandy Chapter has lost another member. Norm Loyd was a lifetime member who was taken from us on April 12th, 2014. Born on July 23, 1947, Norm passed away after suffering heart issues this past year.
Norm was a regular at the chapter meetings and was known to many active members He loved to fish and spoke very kindly and respectfully of everyone associated with NW Steelheaders. He was proud to be a member of NW Steelheaders, and was very disappointed last October when he had to go into the hospital after planning to be at the Tillamook fish-along. He was so looking forward to getting his boat out this Spring and Summer.
He will be greatly missed by all those that knew him well.
