Originally set for November 15th, some of those who’d like to participate will be volunteering that day at the Association auction and Banquet.

I have re-set the date to Saturday December 6th.  This will be about a half day of fishing , all from the shore. See you there!

Join with Sandy River chapter members for some streamside learning and fishing on Saturday December 6th, 8 AM-noon.

Chapter members who helped out with the Steelhead Clinic on November 8th, will be helping the new members from the class to get started . If you are a chapter member would like to learn some of the spots and methods a bit better, come on down and lend a hand.  Some of our new members may be coming (with all gear they bought the day after Thanksgiving…) so be ready to give them some helpful advice.

We'll met at Glenn Otto Park at 8 AM and spread out from there.  Some may go up to Dabney Park, or up to Oxbow Park.

Bring your waders, rod, reel and catch a fish!

Thanks

 Larry Palmer

Dec. 6th fish along

The Sandy River Chapter invites all of it’s members and recent students of our ODFW Steelhead Workshop to come on out for some simple hands-on-how-to fishing practice on Saturday Dec. 6th.  Just bring your rod and gear and meet at Glenn Otto Park in Troutdale        ( the same place that the Steelhead Workshop was held ) at 8AM. This simple ½ day shore fishing trip , led by experienced members of the Sandy River Chapter, will help you learn about how to “read “ water, fine tune rigging and a host of other skills. It’s a great place to try out all that new gear you bought at those “Black Friday“ sales!

There is no charge, but we would appreciate a RSVP by e-mail or phone for planning purposes.
